Arton® Plastic Aspheric Lenses are ideal alternatives to PMMA or polycarbonate plastic aspheric lenses for weight sensitive, harsh environment applications. Typical plastic substrates degrade in performance in hot or humid environments. Arton®, a polyolefin thermoplastic plastic substrate, maintains plastic’s high translucency and low birefringence, while featuring increased heat resistance and decreased water absorbency.
