Acrylic (PMMA) Plastic Windows are ideal for integration into lightweight optical systems. Compared to polycarbonate windows, acrylic windows are more scratch resistant and can be polished to restore optical quality but are more likely to chip or shatter. Acrylic (PMMA) Plastic Windows also provide a higher UV light transmission than polycarbonate and are recyclable.
